After a 2 hour drive to Heathrow Airport and 11 hours in the air with British Airways, both feet were firmly on the ground in Bangkok. I knew that the following 3 days were a chance to capture the way of life in this city, which would be a very different experience to what I'm used to.
Whether it was local markets, military personnel on street corners, or crazy men climbing telegraph poles without any safety gear, I got it. I was so eager to get photos of this busy city while I was there, I was hanging out of the taxi windows at one point with my camera like a dog enjoying the wind in his face. I didn't want to waste an opportunity.
Below is a large collection of the kinds of life I saw during those 3 days on the streets of Bangkok. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed getting them. I would recommend anyone to go and visit Bangkok, it's crazy. But good crazy.
Farewell Bangkok, thanks for the photo opportunities.
