On 31st of October 2015, me and Esther Turner went into the studio to create some images and portraits from a few ideas I had in mind. We were able to fly through a fun 2 hour session & create some great images.
This was actually Esther's first professional photo session in a studio, but it didn't take her long to feel incredibly comfortable infront of the camera. I split the photoshoot up into 2 parts, one using studio lighting & then some time taking advantage of natural light. It only seem right to fit a natural light session in with the beautiful sunshine outside pouring in through the windows. In terms of camera equipment, I shot most of these images on a Nikon D3s using a mixture of the 85mm & 70-200mm Nikon lenses. The studio used is called TipTop Photography in Birmingham.
My very talented friend Leo Bayley wanted to test out a Sony A7s camera he had got his hands on & kindly came along to the shoot. He ended up creating a little performance & behind the scenes video using some footage from the session. You can check it out at the bottom of this post.
Thanks for reading, enjoy the images.
