In early September of 2016 I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph Katie & Chris’s wedding in Lichfield. I have known Chris for a couple of years and it was fantastic feeling being asked to capture his and Katie’s special day.
The ceremony was at Lichfield Registry Office just as the sun was trying to peek out from the clouds which gave us a great opportunity afterwards for some photos. Following this, the reception was at Netherstowe House located just a few miles away from the registry office. Due to the fact this was a slightly smaller wedding in terms of the number of guests, I was able to grab a portrait of everyone that attended the wedding. This isn’t usually possible for wedding photographers so I decided to jump at the chance to try it, which turned out well & felt like a nice touch to offer Katie & Chris when I presented the photos to them.
I had a great time documenting Katie & Chris’s special day, meeting their wonderful friends and family. Below you’ll be able to see a select few shots that showcase the day.

SURPRISE 'Thank You' Gift
Last but not least I have to thank Katie & Chris for being far too kind. When I delivered their wedding photos, they presented me with a bottle of champagne and a voucher for Sonic Editions (limited edition fine art photography). After much deliberation I made my choice with a Bob Dylan portrait taken in 1965 by Dezo Hoffmann (below). Thank you Katie & Chris! You are amazing people.
